Sikar Range
The Sikar Range of furniture is made using sheesham wood.Sheesham wood, often known as Indian Rosewood, is a tough beautiful hardwood, which smoothes and finishes to a fine lustre with wax.
The timber is particularly good due to strict control of moisture levels and timber drying methods. All the timber used to make this furniture is obtained from government managed plantations which ensure that the wood gets replenished and therefore ensures sustainability. Indian Rosewood is fast growing with rate of 15 metres in ten years.
Sikar furniture is handmade, please remember handmade furniture made from wood will have slight imperfections this is a part of the charm and character.
